‘Owning Your Spot’ is tomorrow!

Are you ready to shine? The day for our workshop ‘Owning Your Spot’ is just around the corner, and we still have some tickets available if you want to come. Get yours today, one for £45,00, £40,00 each if you buy four or more, or tomorrow at the door for £50,00. The event starts at 10:00 AM and goes until 4:30 PM, with the slots for the private clinics arranged between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM (remember that private clinics had to be booked before November 4th). Again, our venue is the New Testament Church of God, located at 10 Goosemore Lane, Erdington, Birmingham B23 5SA, which counts with excellent space and free parking!

Let’s do a little reminder of what the day will entail:

Millicent Stephenson, our creative director, is in charge of the talk and the vocal improvisation workshop.
  • A talk by Millicent Stephenson with some valuable tips for generating true impact on stage.
  • A vocal improvisation workshop, also by Millicent, where you will be able to unlock your singing ear to understand what the band is doing and what you can sing on top to improvise your solo.
  • A jamming session conducted by Noval Smith, where attendants will be able to try out ideas with their instruments while receiving guidance on how to play Funk, Gospel and Latin rhythms.
  • A brand new Open Showcase where attendants will receive personal feedback by Cafemnee’s panel of experts, which includes Millicent, Noval, Cynthia Fearon and Abigail Kelly, on how to make their performances even more memorable (please sign up beforehand if you want to go on stage for this activity)
  • Lunch and refreshments (don’t forget to tell us about dietary requirements if needed!), networking opportunities and prayer

If you booked a private 1:1 clinic with one of our guests, remember to bring your equipment. Basic PA system available. Can’t wait!
