Let’s Talk About Menopause on International Women’s Day

On International Women’s Day, we commemorate the fight for women’s rights and the struggle against the social oppression and inequality historically forced upon women. One of the actions that can benefit the situation of women in society is the spreading of awareness in regards of what affects most of us in our workplaces and lives. For example, menopause!

Invited by the Musicians’ Union, our director Millicent wrote an article on life as a menopausal musician last year. The topic is always relevant, given that it is still a bit of a taboo, even among women. The more openly we can talk about our body cycles and the more informed we are about them, the more accurate our decisions can be to improve our conditions.
