It has been a difficult road of more than a year now. Lockdown has kept musicians and audiences far from the stages, there are no events and therefore no opportunity to keep those live performance skills sharp, even despite our ingenuity when organizing virtual concerts and livestreams. However, vaccinations have brought a new hope, and the current government plan aims to completely remove quarantine measures by June 21st.
It is important to plan ahead and dust off the stage clothes. Don’t just wait until the three months left of lockdown pass! Doing so would just make you pessimistic and prevent you to use the context to your advantage. If you are unsure of what to do or where to start, consider joining Time For My Music, the membership-based community we support for women to receive training, share experiences and keep in touch with colleagues through digital media. We have covered subjects like stage presence, copyright, backing tracks, PA systems and more; hosting panels, talks, and virtual spaces to chill and chat.
You can find all the information about Time For My Music and other valuable resources in the Success Beyond The Score page. Shake the blue feeling and warm up with us to go back to the stages with full force during the summer!
