Sept 2018: What Shall I Wear?

One of the first questions we ask ourself when we are planning to play at an Open Mic, Church Service, Concert, Gig or even performing background in a Band or Choir is ‘What shall I wear?’ We want to look good, and rightly so.

Bev Critchlow Image consultant Millicent Stephenson Sax CafemneeBut as you know, we go through the wardrobe and nothing is quite right.  Doesn’t fit, wrong shade, wrong design!

Good news! For our next session on Saturday 8th Sept, Millicent’s personal image consultant Beverley Critchlow will be coming to help you with this intricate female question of ‘What shall I wear?’.

Beverley is a woman of great substance and experience and has an eye for what suits women, individually, for casual or high-end appearances. She will cover the best design for your shape, best colours for you, even some unknown but very very useful trade secrets.

VOCAL WORKSHOP

Abigail Kelly fileSo excited to annouce that Abigail Kelly will be taking our Vocal Workshop on 8th September. She is an award winning professional operatic soprano and her recent work includes performing with the English Touring Opera in ‘The Marriage of Figaro’.

We had to book her a year in advance for our event so it’s such a priviledge to have this high profile working professional Singer with us.  She teaches a range of vocal styles and she is fantastic!  When you book please send the areas of concern for your voice and Abigail will include tips/methods to help you in her class.

MUSICIANS JAM SESSION

20180609_Millicent_Stephenson_Sax_Player_closeupMeanwhile Millicent will work with those who are ready to go!  Her aim is to stretch you musically, a bit like an aerobics class, there will be a gentle warm-up and then burn some music calories 🙂  Cynthia’s class will then join Millicent’s class a bit later. The aim is to have fun and express ourselves musically.  So book now (Early Bird ends 19th August) to secure your place and so that Cynthia and Millicent can plan the session and cater for your level.
