A week ago, we made a survey available for members and newcomers alike to give us their thoughts on the topics and themes we should cover during our next Cafemnee workshop. We received a lot of responses with very interesting insights, reason why we wanted to thank all of you for your help.
For the final questions of our evaluation form, we asked the attendants to the workshop ‘Owning Your Spot’ about what they had achieved thanks to Cafemnee, if they ever had attended a workshop with us before. Here, some of their answers, which make us very proud.
“Owning Your Spot” was, in a way, the culmination of several processes that were developed in previous workshops of Cafemnee. So far, most of our sessions had focused on things to do out or around the stage: practise, management, finances, communication with agents and clients, and so on. This time, we went directly to the stage, and that allowed us to apply knowledge acquired in all those previous experiences, and understand just how much we have changed for the best.

2019 is coming to an end and most of us are thinking about how we will tackle 2020, how we are going to make it the best year of our lives so far. To achieve so, part of the process is to reflect on how to improve the way we do things.
